For the past seven years I have been involved with Woodland Park Baptist Church out of Chattanooga, TN as part of an international medical mission team. Our group of physicians, dentists and medical support personnel from the US and El Salvador return in the fall every year to a country in South America to help in providing needed medical and dental care. The mission team is involved in spreading the Gospel message as well as in planting churches in Bolivia and Peru. Dr. Larry Mullinax from Chattanooga and I have been the two dentists on the team up until last year.  Dr. Chip Going from Oral Surgery & Associates in Atlanta as well as Alisha Fricks from the Free Dental Clinic in NC became part of the team that year. Hopefully they will serve again in the future. This past year Dr. Heath Blockley from Chattanooga volunteered as the other dentist on the team. It is rewarding to feel we are doing God's work, "for the least of these."
